“The Sweetest” “Partner for Life”

They first met in the fall of 2001. Julian asked his high school friend, Cara Weaver Fields, if her ensemble would sing background for Julian’s CD release: Here’s Life Vol. I. At the time, Cara was the Music Director at the church where Katrina and her family were members, in Birmingham, AL. Julian lived in the DC area at the time. Their first meeting was right around September 11, 2001, better known as 9/11. Music is what brought them back together for their second meeting, Spring 2004. Katrina and Julian became friends. They eventually become each other's confidant and Julian realized Katrina was his "gift of love". Indeed, they are each other's partner for life!
